A 2-3 hour guided walk taking you through the history and heritage of our village from the 11th century to the present day.  You will learn about the origins of Moycullen village and its original location (factual and mythological), the renowned O’Flaherty clan (in particular the famed historian Ruadhri O’Flaherty), anglo-norman castle ruins, our Sean Reilig containing stunning examples of vocational stone markings and some of the oldest marked graves in the county, as well as restored 19th century handball alley and even a little about the original Galway-Clifden railway line- can you afford to miss this valuable learning experience?
