Conserving Our Cilliní - An update on recent work by Collinamuck Historical Society

28 September 2022, Ower Equestrian Centre, 7pm

Cilliní were historically known as children’s burial grounds, primarily used for stillborn and unbaptized infants. Locally they were also used for adult burials, particularly in times of hardship such as the famine.

Collinamuck Community Group, under the supervision of Archaeologists, recently did trojan work in ensuring some of these sites of rest were not forgotten.  We do hope you can go along on the 28th to hear about their work.
