Our society was formed in 1995 and named in honour of Ruaidhrí Ui Fhlaitheartaigh, the 17th century Moycullen-born historian and scholar of international renown.
Cumann Staire Ruaidhrí Ui Fhlaitheartaigh/Moycullen Heritage’s aim is to record, conserve and share Moycullen’s rich visual, written and aural history. We’re always interested in welcoming new recruits, so if you wish to take part in any way, we would love to hear from you. Beidh fáilte romhat.
We are a multi award winning proactive community group where you can participate in lots of interesting projects.

Yes Treasa, all are most welcome. We would mention though that it is not online this year, the format is back to face to face as usual following the lifting of covid restrictions.
