Speakers
Dr Christy Cunniffe
Dr. Christy Cunniffe is an archaeologist and heritage consultant. He works as Field Monument Advisor for Galway County Council. His role is to create awareness and provide advice to landowners on the care of field monuments in their ownership. He has a special interest in the archaeology of the medieval Irish Church and in religious art and iconography.
Dr Janice Fuller
Dr Janice Fuller is a Consultant Ecologist with over 15 years experience of project management, botanical survey, ecological assessment and monitoring, habitat mapping, GIS, data analysis and interpretation, writing reports and publications. She also provides biodiversity and heritage training for Local Authorities and Community Groups. Janice has written many papers for high impact scientific journals as well as publications for general audiences. She has a particular interest in communicating ecology to a general audience and regularly gives talks and guided walks for the public. Janice also has a Diploma is Community Development and works a lot (both professionally and in a voluntary capacity) with community groups on a wide range of projects.
