Tour of O'Flaitheartaigh's An Páirc

Despite his achievements and international fame, the place of Ruaidhrí O’Flaitheartaigh’s death in 1718 remained unmarked until April 1998 when Galway Archaeological Society erected a plaque at Páirc Lár in his honour.

Led by Sean O’Coistealbha, this tour of the ruins of O’Flaitheartaigh’s home at An Pairc, and the ruins of his schoolhouse,  is by booking only – please contact 087 929 5703 if you would like to reserve a place.
