people

The people who have lived in Moycullen in the past and those who continue to live in Moycullen to the present have helped to shape the community and the landscape. From the earliest Mesolithic tribes and the farmers of Neolithic times, the landscape has been altered by people. It is settlement of these people that has created the built environment and in turn the natural environment has been effected. Moycullen has benefited from the wealth of people who have made an impression on the place whether through their writings, farming methods, their sport, their art, and their craft.
Bhi daoine suimiúil í Maigh Cuilinn thar na blianta, mar, scríbhneoirí, scéalaithe, ealaíontóirí, ceardaithe, feirmeoirí, lucht spóirt agus saighdiúirí, srl. Tá daoine as Maigh Cuilinn scaipthe ar fud an domhain agus d’fhág go leor acu a mharc ina dtír nua.
An raibh aon duine suimiúil i do theaghlach, inis dúinn faoi?. "Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine" – "In the shadow of each other, we live".
