BOGHILMORE- Buachail Mòr

Boghilmore is an island in the townland of Portdarragh, located within the parish of Moycullen. This area is characterized by its rural setting, with farming as the main occupation of its residents. The name “Boghilmore” suggests a landscape with boggy, wetland areas, which is common in parts of Galway.
