Locally in Moycullen we would have known her as Mary Munnelly, founder of Celtic Crystal but as a newspaper article from her home county of Clare recently reports, the legendary Mae Hegarty was once renowned in cycling circles. Mary went to her eternal rest on 18 September 2018, a proud wife to John and mother to Ian and Aengus.
