Sín Scéal Eíle

The ‘Sín Scéal Eíle’ Oral History Project aims to record the fullest possible picture of ‘olden times’ by Maigh Cuilinn residents, past and present, in their own words. The project is organised by Moycullen Heritage Society and Moycullen Active Retired and is kindly sponsored by The White Gables Restaurant with funding from Galway County Council Heritage.

The project will record face-to-face interviews and video recording with willing participants.  All material will be preserved as a permanent public reference resource for use in research, publication, education, lectures, broadcasting and the internet by Maigh Cuilinn ‘Sin Scéal Eile’ Oral History Project Committee and used by them as they best see fit.

Recorded material whether it is audio, video, or photographic - and the resulting translations, and/or transcriptions and/or images - will not be used for any other purposes without the permission of the interviewee.

We would welcome participation of the people of Moycullen in this project. If interested, please contact us to arrange an interview in your own home or another suitable location.
