Moycullen Heritage was proudly Highly Commended at the 2026 Cathaoirleach Awards, held at Raheen Woods Hotel on Friday night, 8 May 2026. The awards were hosted by Cathaoirleach David Collins.
We were shortlisted in the category Best Contribution to Heritage, which recognises outstanding efforts to promote and preserve the natural, built, and cultural heritage of a community. Also shortlisted were Kiltullagh Killimordaly Heritage Society and John Tarpey.
Congratulations to John Tarpey, founder of the Kilskeagh Heritage Committee, who was announced as the overall category winner on the night.
While we did not take home the award, it was a tremendous honour to be shortlisted and to receive a Highly Commended recognition among such inspiring groups and individuals.
