Please bring your own packed lunch – tea and coffee will be provided

1.00pm Medicinal & Edible Wild Plant Foraging Walk

Discover some of our beautiful local medicinal and edible plants;  you’ll see your surroundings with new eyes.  Vivienne will talk about the medicinal and nutritional properties of plants that grow right under your feet that you probably haven’t ever noticed before. Learn the many uses of the common plants such as daisy;  discover a tree extract used with great success by an Irish GP.  We don’t walk far:  it’s a lovely little shuffle in the fresh air discovering local plants.

Walks go ahead rain or shine so please dress for the weather: sun hat, sun screen, wellies, waterpoofs as appropriate.

Can I bring my children/buggies/babies?  This varies depending on the venue for the walk. Please check in advance with the event organisers.

Can I bring my dog? This varies depending on the venue for the walk. Please check in advance with the event organisers.

Can I attend just the morning talk or just the afternoon walk? Yes, it is possible to attend just one module of the days event, but we would ask that you advise the event organisers in advance.  Cost remains at €5.00 whether attending one or both modules.
